I've been stringing my rackets here and have also purchased new ones. The owner knows his stuff and offers the best deals in town. Thanks to him, my hybrid racket with natural gut strings feels amazing, even though it doesn't last long in New Zealand's weather. While all strings lose their tension over time, natural gut provides the best feel, even it is expensive. It's totally worth it, though, since he knows exactly how to string it the way I like it. I highly recommend getting your rackets strung by Liam ! Thanks for the deals u give me , I wish I could pay u more for your nice job ! Really appreciate it!

The best racket shop in New Zealand! Liam provides excellent customer service – not gonna lie, you won’t find anyone better than him. My friend and I wanted to try out a few rackets (unstrung), and Liam didn’t hesitate to restring them on the spot, letting us have a demo. He’s a super friendly and chill guy; I’d recommend anyone at any level of tennis (or squash) to drop by for a visit. Liam definitely has a deep understanding of string and racket "science", so don’t hesitate to ask him anything if you're not sure about which string or racket to choose. He’s always up for a casual chat and keen to share his experiences and strategies for playing against different types of opponents. I'm as loyal to Racket Academy (and Liam, of course) as a bee is to honey – buzzingly inseparable!!!

Probably one of the best tennis/squash stores in the country. Liam’s service was exceptional - super helpful and even gave us a deal! Probably the only person I’ve seen string an 18x20 in 10 minutes. We got to demo A LOT of racquets! I’d recommend this place to anyone in a heartbeat, I’m forever loyal to racket academy for this.
